this is old news, but i thought i'd post a picture for those who are far away...
after we got our new crib (the old one had been recalled!) we made ben's bed into a toddler bed. i was really nervous about transitioning him into the big boy bed, but really he did great. and of course i did it the weekend in february that matt went to his grandfather's funeral. i know crazy! but it worked awesome and he loves his new bed! as i'm sure you can tell by the silly smile on his face.
