today is ben's 1 year birthday! yep, he was born april fool's day 2007. quite appropriate for his little personality.
this time last year i was half way through my labor :) thank goodness that is over! we partied hard this weekend with ben's big birthday bash. so today we're keeping it pretty low key. just some family time, dinner, ice cream. once i get pics from friends we'll post them.
thank you to all of you! your support, prayers, advice, encouragement, hugs & kisses, babysitting, feedings, and everything in between have meant the world to us. we couldn't have made it through this first year without you. we now know it truly takes a village to raise a child. thanks for being part of our village!!

I'm so glad we got to be there! It was defintiely a once in a lifetime event. You and Matt have been wonderful parents. Ben will be able to show what love is from his life with you guys!
